Walking test for BOAS-breeds
The Finnish Kennel Club organized a walking test for BOAS-breeds. They invited two dogs of every breed to join the test. Shandita´s American Dream took part to the test.
I am happy to tell the results were better than good - American Dream had no symptoms of BOAS, his breathing was mute before and after running, body temperature did not raise and his pulse decreased from 76 to 60 during the running. According to the vet, he is an excellent breather.
Shandita´s American Dream is one of the two first bostons to complete the test in Finland. The walking test is at the very beginning and hopefully in the future it is possible to take part to the test in all parts of the country.
